‘Liminal’ explores the emotional buffer one experiences when they are in a transitional phase of their life. It could be things like relocating homes, changing jobs, or any moment where one leaves behind an experience that is known to pursue the unknown. For me, it was leaving my home back in India and coming to New York to pursue my dreams. It is a weird mix of feeling optimistic and driven, but also just missing the familiarity and comfort of home.
